Job Description

    Director, PR and Communications - LATAM Position Overview We are seeking a director to lead our Tiffany & Co. Latam, Miami, and Caribbean Public Relations team. Tiffany & Co. was founded in New York City in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany, and is a global luxury jeweler synonymous with elegance, innovative design, fine craftsmanship and creative excellence. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, creative leader to spearhead our PR efforts as part of Tiffanys exciting and bold journey to strengthen our leadership as a luxury jeweler across Latin America, Miami, and the Caribbean. The ideal candidate should have proven experience to deliver leading share of coverage across social, digital, and print channels, and have strong experience in luxury jewelry or fashion categories. The Director of Public Relations must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people, and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united and mutually supportive manner.     • Lead and implement Tiffany & Companys PR strategies for Latam to deliver leading share of coverage across social, digital, and print channels
    • Develop PR strategies and plans for Miami, Caribbean, and Latam including planning, pitching against brand objectives
    • Use first-class knowledge of the media editorial landscape of the region to broaden and deepen the brand relationships with top contacts from the industry.
    • Lead and implement plans to support new initiatives, launches and core iconic product lines in the Tiffany portfolio. Deliver compelling pitches to support launch and events efforts, including media messages, executive documents for speaking engagements, media alerts, and Q & As. Oversee and manage press events.
    • Lead PR leg of regional new store openings including pop up stores and activations. Provide editorial support across the Americas for local events to create excitement. Deliver PR support around trophy business and sporting partnerships.
    • Lead all Branding events, activations and press trips for Miami, Caribbean and Latin America
    • Build and nurture ongoing, proactive relationships with key journalists and analysts.
    • Identify regional influencers and local across Latam to propose as strong fit for the brand.
    • Manage efficient negotiations and contracts with talent.
    • Support proactive communication with digital media and print, influencers, and celebrity stylists to identify unique brand opportunities for product integration
    • Oversee and manage an editorial and talent product loans
    • Maintain a robust understanding of competitor, and industry, activity
    • Manage comprehensive reporting for product launches, brand announcements, and events across Latam, Miami, and the Caribbean
    • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential or sensitive nature
    • Oversee budget for Latam PR based activity
    • Bring innovative, disruptive ideas to get Tiffany into the conversation with our target audience and drive earned media value
    RequiredQualifications
    • Extensive PR/ media relations experience, ideally in luxury jewelry or fashion
    • Excellent, strong relationships with editors, journalists of leading publications across print and digital channels
    • Passion and creativity for relationship building and communications
    • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multi-task
    • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong knowledge and experience with DMR measurement
    • Proficient English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus
    • 30% travel required
