PLC Programmer

Position Overview
The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of automated systems and collaborating with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement PLC programs for various manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems with PLCs.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Document changes made to PLC programs and maintain an accurate log of modifications.
• Train and support technicians in the operation and maintenance of PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
• Familiarity with HMI programming and integration.
• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
