Job Title: Marketing Specialist I (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid role in Charlotte, NC (2 days onsite Tuesday/Wednesday, 3 days remote)
Duration: 4 Months
About the Role:
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the development and execution of key marketing strategies across the Americas region. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive awareness, demand, and revenue growth across various market segments. This is a hybrid position, with two days in the Charlotte office and three days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth:
Assist in developing and executing strategic marketing plans aimed at building relationships with key customers, using an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach.
Create and manage customer-facing events and digital lead generation campaigns.
Convert leads into actionable business opportunities.
Work with Sales, Product Line Management, and Market Development to uncover potential growth areas.
Lead initiatives that increase brand awareness and customer loyalty, driving revenue growth.
Manage the successful execution of marketing campaigns and content creation for the market segment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Market Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of the market segment, its applications, and customer needs.
Collaborate with peers to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Demonstrate leadership by managing projects, becoming a subject matter expert in your market segment, and providing insights to internal teams and the broader industry.
Support communication strategies by leveraging specialized media channels to engage with key stakeholders.
Ensure that sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools and messaging to effectively present value propositions.
Lead product launches and commercialization efforts by aligning marketing strategies with business goals.
Create and execute digital campaigns to support lead generation, account-based marketing, and product launches through social media, email marketing, and web content.
3. Marketing Thought Leadership:
Develop value propositions and craft audience-specific messaging for marketing campaigns.
Create relevant and engaging technical content that helps guide customers through the buying journey.
Performance Metrics:
Successful project management: Execute projects on time and within budget.
Growth in segment revenue, measured by the number of new qualified leads and marketing-influenced revenue.
Increase in web and social media engagement.
Key account engagement and marketing opportunity pipeline growth.
Continuous process improvement and timely project completion.
Key Competencies:
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on both traditional and digital marketing.
Proficiency in managing social media, email campaigns, and web content.
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to work under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with SEO (desirable) and an understanding of segment and network architecture.
Desired Competencies:
Experience in marketing within the telecommunications or related industry.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for driving innovative marketing strategies.
