Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Estimator to join our team. The primary responsibilities include performing material take-offs and preparing detailed estimates for structural steel projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in evaluating project specifications and accurately estimating costs associated with materials, labor, and other project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct material take-offs for structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects.
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
* Review and analyze project documents, blueprints, and drawings to determine material quantities and labor needs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with Tekla EPM for project management and estimating.
* Ability to detail and draft structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
* Proficiency in drafting software and tools for creating detailed structural plans.
