Reports to: Operations Manager
Our need: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bookkeeper for our construction company and residential apartment complexes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping the books in alignment with standard accounting procedures. Additionally, this candidate will be required to supply the Rual Development division of the USDA with necessary data.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintains accounts payables / receivables across a 4-entity structure
· Verifies accuracy and ensures financial data meets our CPA firm’s requirements
· Records journal entries for expense allocations / reimbursements
· Process and record bank deposits
· Complete monthly bank reconciliations in QuickBooks [4 company files]
· Assist with quarterly and annual reports
· Assist with the annual audit process with external auditors
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree [Bachelor’s degree preferred]
· 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
· Proficient with Windows 11, QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024 and MS Office 365
· Familiarity with rural development for multi-family housing * significant plus *
